Question by : What types of candies are good for my deployed boyfriend?
My boyfriend is in the Navy on deployment and I want to send him a care package. I want him to have plenty of candy, but I’m not sure what type of candies to send because they will melt while being shipped. I don’t have many ideas of what to send. Please help.

Werthers caramels (hard candy), gummy bears, gummy worms… any type of gummy wont melt.
What do you think? Answer below!
I sent my husband stuff all the time when he was deployed in Iraq and I never had anything melt during shipping. I would suggest getting things that are individually wrapped so that they don’t get all stuck together! Also my husband and his friends were always wanting beef jerky! It’s easy to carry on person and gives a little protein boost; another helpful food item is powder gatorade; all that time in the sun can lower the bodies electrolytes.
Best wishes to you and your boyfriend!
First of all you should find out how long it is going to take for it to get to him, sometimes it can take awhile and you don’t want the candy to go bad so I would suggest using stuff that lasts a long time. Also use hard candy because most of it won’t melt. If you have any questions about either one of those you could always ask the person who sold you the candy. I hope this helps and God bless you and your boyfriend
lollipops and gummy worms any caramels or anything that doesnt have chocolate. i guess…
