Question by : How can I get my friends to stop calling my girlfriend or fiancee a mail order bride ?
My friends keep on calling her that because I was unable to find a girl on my own so my aunt in vietnam introduced me to her and that’s how I met her. She is not a mail order bride, she is my girlfriend or fiancee. We’re engaged kind of because I’m planning to marry her after college. Not only it hurts her but it hurts me too. Her friends who went overseas from vietnam for college called her and told her that my friends are calling her that.

Just tell them that it hurts your and her both and it’s disrespectful. You want everyone to get along and you want to bring her to social events where your friends will be but are afraid you can’t do that b/c they will be rude to her.
